This Privacy Policy describes how Milord Home Services LLC (“Milord Home Services”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our services or contact us.
Who we are
Milord Home Services LLC is a New York-registered home services contractor based on Long Island, providing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, remodeling, and general handyman services across Suffolk and Nassau Counties. You can reach us at (631) 800-7950 or milordrod@gmail.com.
Information we collect
When you submit a service inquiry, we collect:
- Your name, phone number, and/or email address
- The city and state where service is needed
- A description of the work, optional photos, and an optional budget
- The full service address (street, city, state, zip) once you approve a quote
We also automatically collect:
- Inquiry status, quote details, and message history
- Trip-tracking timestamps when a Pro is dispatched and en route
- Payment confirmations (we do not store card numbers — these are handled by our payment processor)
How we use your information
- Match you with a quote and assign a Pro to your job
- Send you notifications about your inquiry by SMS or email (consent-based)
- Coordinate scheduling, payment, and on-site service
- Maintain a record of your service history for future requests and warranty claims
How we share your information
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with:
- The Pro(s) assigned to your job — limited to your name, address, and job description; never your contact info or payment details
- Service providers we use to deliver the service (Twilio for SMS, email providers, hosting and database providers, payment processors, Anthropic for AI processing — see “AI processing” below), who are contractually bound to use the data only to deliver our service
- Authorities, when required by law
We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent records are never shared with third parties for any purpose.
SMS messaging
If you opt in to SMS by checking the consent box on our inquiry form, Milord Home Services will text you about your service request — including:
- Receipt confirmation when your inquiry is received
- Quote ready notifications
- Appointment scheduling and changes
- Pro arrival updates (“your Pro is on the way”)
- Job completion and payment notifications
- Direct manual replies from our team
Message frequency varies based on your job activity — typically 4–10 messages per active job. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of all messages from Milord Home Services, or HELP for help. Opting out via STOP will end automated messaging immediately and a confirmation message will be sent.
SMS opt-in data and consent records are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
AI processing
To help our team prepare for your job, we use Anthropic's Claude AI to translate your inquiry description and any messages you send us into a clean, focused work briefing for the Pro who will perform the service. The information sent to Anthropic includes your written description of the job, the city of service, and any text messages you've exchanged with us about the request. We do not send your name, phone, email, payment details, or budget to the AI.
Anthropic processes this information only to generate the briefing and is contractually prohibited from using it to train their models. Our team reviews and edits every AI-generated briefing before it is shared with the Pro. You can request that we not use AI processing on your inquiry by emailing us — we'll handle your job without it.
How long we keep your information
We keep your inquiry, customer profile, and service history as long as you maintain a relationship with us, plus a reasonable period afterward for tax, legal, warranty, and accounting purposes. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights

- Request correction or deletion of your information
- Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP
- Withdraw consent at any time by emailing us
